Fun in the Sun

Hi Everyone....can you believe it's Friday already!.... Jack finishes school today for the summer holidays. The payments are now in place for me to employ a helper for two days a week to support me with taking Jack out & about...so hopefully by keeping him occupied it will reduce the aggression...fingers crossed :)

Whilst Jack is around I am afraid my posts may not be as regular but I will try to post a few times a week and of course I will be back with my regular weekly candy :)

I am playing catch up this week...here is a DT card I have made for this months challenge over at Bunny Zoe's Crafts. This months 'Summer Days' Challenge was set by the lovely Mina.

I have used this adorable 'Goggles' Stamp by Belles & Whistles. I have coloured the image with Copics. The papers are from the 'Delovely' pad by Cosmo Cricket. The Sentiment, Sunshine. and scalloped border are all from the 'Sweet Summertime' collection by Echo Park. I used a really old Sizzix die to create the starfish embellie and some chipboard letters to spell out the 'Fun' sentiment.

I am off to visit my Mum today...she is still not too good and is suffering from really severe depression after her stroke last year....she was supposed to stay with me for a few months...but only manged to cope in my mad house for a few weeks...I do have to admit that being around Jack is not at all restful! LOL....anyhoo I am going to try and persuade her to go out for lunch today...she always makes 101 excuses not to go...but this time I not taking No for answer...she spends far to much time alone and I think that is half the problem...getting out & about may help her forget about her own problems for a while.
