Penny Black Saturday Challenge & Sketch Saturday #76

Hi everyone and a Happy Saturday to you all. I hope you all have lots of fun things planned for the weekend....I had hoped to be at the NEC today but sadly I couldn't find anyone to look after Jack...oh well maybe next year.

There are two fabulous challenges to join in with today.....

Penny Black Saturday Challenge ~ A Song Title

A really fun challenge this week over at PBSC, we would like to see your creations based on a song title and the DT have come up with some gorgeous examples.

We are joined this week by our Guest Designer for November Debby who makes the most wonderful cards so you a certainly in for a treat each week!

Our sponsor this week is

who are offering a fabulous £10 Stampin Up voucher!

So here is my DT card for this week, I have based my card on the song...'Please Mr Postman' by the Beatles
I have used one of Penny Blacks New Christmas Stamps. The image has been coloured with Copics, and I stamped the Ted & Hedgie again and 3d them to add a bit of interest, the snow effect on the top of the Postbox is created with Flowersoft & Glamour Dust. The icicle border was created with a punch.

Recipe
Stamp: 'Hand Mailed' (4014K) by Penny Black from
Create4Fun
Colouring Medium: Memento Ink & Copic Sketch Markers.
Card: ColorCore Cardstock from
Create4Fun
Papers
: October Afternoon & Basic Grey.
Tools: Martha Stewart 'Icicle' border punch, Spellbinders megabilities 'Labels 8 from
Create4Fun.
Misc:
'Arctic White' Flowersoft, Glamour Dust, Stickles, Organza Ribbon, Snowflake & Snowflake Charm are all from my stash.

Sketch Saturday #76 - My Sketch

It's DT week at Sketch Saturday this week and this time it is my turn to create the sketch.
I have to admit that I am not very gifted in the sketch department! LOL I would much rather follow sketches than design them and I really don't know how Jo does it every week!

We are joined this week by our Guest Designer for November Bev who always creates the most stunning cards and I am so thrilled that she has agreed to join us...thanks sweetie X

This weeks sketch is sponsored is Jenny from ...

A fabulous place to stock up on all of your crafting goodies! Jenny is kindly offering these two adorable Inky Impression stamps for this weeks lucky entrant.

So onto my DT card for this week. I just love this sweet image...you know how I love my mices! LOL

Once again the image has been coloured with Copics, I have used my Fiskars border punch to create the lacey border and I have stuck the waste down both sides of the card. The mistletoe is a die cut and I have added stick on pearls for the berries.

Recipe
Stamp:
'Mistletoe & Mice' Designed by Gillian F Roberts for Stampavie. From
Bunny Zoe's Crafts but I have just checked and they are sold out :(
Colouring Medium: Memento Ink & Copic Sketch Markers.
Card: Plain White Cardstock.
Papers: MME from the 'Colouful Christmas' Collection from
Bunny Zoe's Crafts
Tools:
Fiskars
'Lace' border punch, Spellbinders 'Oval' & 'Scalloped Oval' from Create4Fun. Sizzlit 'Mistletoe' die.
Flowers: Poppicrafts.
Misc: Bead Spacers, gems, stick on pearls and satin ribbon are all from my stash.

These Saturday posts seem to be getting longer....so thanks for hanging in there!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
